Eight players will participate in the 2020 Three-Point Contest Saturday night in Chicago as part of NBA All-Star Weekend. It’s a relatively wide-open field with players like Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson still recovering from injuries.

Here’s a look at the betting odds for each participant, via DraftKings Sportsbook, along with a prediction for the shootout.

Joe Harris (+475)

The Brooklyn Nets guard is the reigning three-point contest champion. Harris ranks 20th (40.8) in three-point percentage after leading the league in 2019. He’s the only participant that doesn’t rank in the top 11 in three-point attempts per game.

Damian Lillard (+500)

The Portland Trail Blazers guard has more range than anyone with a league-best 76 makes from 28 feet or more away from the basket. Lillard ranks 39th (39.5) in three-point percentage. That number is a career-high, as are his 29.7 points and 4.0 three-pointers made per game.

Trae Young (+500)

The Atlanta Hawks guard attempts 9.4 threes per game. Young is 81st (37.0) in three-point percentage and third in the NBA with 29.7 points per game. The second-year player only made 32.4% of his threes last season.

Duncan Robinson (+500)

The Miami Heat guard has emerged as one of the NBA’s best shooters after playing only 15 games as a rookie. Robinson leads the field and ranks sixth (43.7) in the entire league in three-point percentage. He’s made three or more three-pointers in 15 straight games.

Davis Bertans (+550)

The Washington Wizards forward is averaging career-highs across the board. Bertans is 10th (42.5) in the NBA in three-point percentage and second among players that are taller than 6’8. He’s second in the field behind only Harris, making 48.0% of his open shots.

Buddy Hield (+650)

The Sacramento Kings guard finished third in the 2019 three-point shootout. Hield is down to 52nd (38.7) in three-point percentage this season after being a top-nine shooter in each of the last two years. He shot 41.0% from behind the arc in January and is making 52.1% of his threes in five February games.

Devonte’ Graham (+900)

The Charlotte Hornets guard is a top candidate for Most Improved Player, increasing his scoring average from 4.7 points to 17.9 points per game. Graham is 77th (37.2) in three-point percentage. That’s a drastic improvement from the 28.7% he shot from distance as a rookie.

Zach Lavine (+900)

The Chicago Bulls guard is a two-time slam dunk champion. Lavine ranks 55th (38.5) in three-point percentage. He’s only converted 41.1% of his open looks, putting him last in the field.

Prediction: Davis Bertans

There hasn’t been a back-to-back champion since 2008. Bertans can hit shots with consistency from all over the court, shooting at least 42.8% on corner threes and above-the-break threes. He’s used to getting—and making—open looks, giving Bertans a great chance to win Saturday’s contest.
