More and more in the NBA believe that Los Angeles Lakers forward Kyle Kuzma deserves to be an All-Star.

The current Lakers have an array of young and talented players. Back when the team was hoping to sign NBA Finals MVP Kawhi Leonard, most of Lakers' young stars were considered for trade. But no matter how crucial the Leonard situation was for the team, Kuzma seemed "untouched."

There are many reasons why Kuzma was never considered nor mentioned in trade talks this offseason. From the looks of how things are going lately, it seems like LA foresees a bright future for Kuzma. It didn't take long for new Laker Danny Green to notice the potential of his new teammate.

In a recent interview with ESPN Los Angeles, Green commended Kuzma's hard work and skills. The NBA champ said that he is excited for what's next for Kuzma and believes that the Lakers forward deserves to be an All-Star.

"He's ahead of his time. I consider him a potential All Star," Green said.

Being an All Star player in the NBA means a lot, but to be considered to represent the country and play overseas is a bit more prestigious for every kind of athlete. Last month, Kuzma was reportedly shortlisted as one of the NBA stars who will compete for a position in the USA National Basketball team FIBA roster which will be held in China.

USA Basketball director Jerry Colangelo revealed that Kuzma's ticket to join national team camp this year was the significant and consistent "improvement" he's done since entering the league.

Colangelo even noted that Kuzma has the "size, shooting ability, range, versatility and toughness."

Kuzma was indeed one of the toughest players in LA, and Colangelo seems to appreciate it much as he knows that the FIBA is a grown man's game. "You need toughness in this competition," Colangelo said of Kuzma.

Even retired players are convinced that Kuzma does not only deserve to be an All-Star but also to be the face of Purple and Gold in future. In a recent episode of Fox Sports' "Speak For Yourself," retired NBA players Cuttino Mobley and Jimmy Jackson discussed the LA Laker's prospects next season, and Mobley mentioned Kuzma as the "key to the Lakers success."

The Lakers' new look is definitely something to look forward to next season, with Kuzma being assumed to come off the bench. It is still kind of hard to imagine how everything will come together inside the court for Anthony Davis, LeBron James and the rest of the team.
