The Milwaukee Bucks are going great with Giannis Antetokounmpo leading the way. But of course, the team has other players contributing to its success. This includes Khris Middleton, Nikola Mirotic and more, all of whom are responding very well to Mike Budenholzer.

They are currently busy figuring out how far they can go in the ongoing NBA playoffs. They face a formidable team in the Boston Celtics and need all the help they can get. One player that could help is Malcolm Brogdon who is dealing with a right foot injury, ESPN reported. He has so far missed 13 games of the regular season after norming 15.6 points per game on 50.5 percent shooting from the field and 42.6 percent from three.

Regardless of how far the Bucks will go, Brogdon is set to become a restricted free agent after this season. Despite missing for nearly two months now, the 36th pick of the 2016 NBA Draft is expected to get a lucrative contract next season. Being a restricted free agent, the Bucks could match any offers on the table. But of course, the numbers will play a role in all of this.

According to Gery Woelfel, Brogdon could receive a contract offer ranging from $14 to $16 million from other teams. If this holds true, the Bucks may be forced to give him up due to salary budget constraints. One reason for this is that they agreed to a four-year $70 million extension with Eric Bledsoe. The best qualifying offer that Milwaukee can give the 26-year-old guard is $3.02 million according to Spotrac.

From the big disparity in numbers, there is no question that Brogdon could be better off signing somewhere else. There are plenty of teams out there in need of a quality guard and the 6-foot-5 guard has certainly proven his worth. That includes being the first player to finish a season shooting at least 50-percent from the field, 40-percent from rainbow country and 90 percent from the stripe, the Bleacher Report reported.

It may be too early to speculate what lies ahead for Brogdon. It is something that the Bucks will have to deal with in the summer. For now, it is all about trying to see how far they can go in the NBA postseason wars.
