Kyrie Irving and LeBron James did not exactly part well when they were still with the Cleveland Cavaliers, with the former bolting to get out of the shadow of the "King." The latest on that, however, is that both NBA stars have mended fences and now pundits are coming up with many wild ideas.

These include a possible reunion between James and Irving over in Los Angeles. Much of it started when the top overall pick of the 2011 NBA Draft started calling up the "King" for advice. And from there, it was pretty obvious that the two have patched things up. So does this mean that the two have buried the hatchet and are now ready to be teammates once more? Perhaps.

Assuming that he does bolt the Boston Celtics, the question is whether Irving will decide to do so because of James or something else. Reuniting this early may seem odd, but there is a monkey wrench in the equation going by the name of Anthony Davis. One can only ponder how a James, Irving and Davis trio would turn out – likely the winning formula that the Lakers direly need.

If not because of James, Irving jumping ship could be because the Boston Celtics have not exactly performed well. Frustration on the part of the six-time NBA All-Star in Bean City could actually be the reason, Masslive.com reported. This could also hint that Uncle Drew is looking to play for a team that has better chances of winning an NBA title. With James and possibly Davis on board, all that makes sense.

Irving, should he decide, could be the perfect fit for the Lakers. The point guard position has been the Waterloo of the Lakers for quite some time now and the injuries of Lonzo Ball and Rajon Rondo have only made matters worse.

Right now, all these are pure speculations stemming from the James-Irving interaction along with the “Anthony Davis wants out” issue. A reunion is not farfetched and a clear answer to it may only come this summer.

The Celtics have shown that they can be up there even without Irving or Gordon Hayward last season. Things should have looked up this season with both NBA All-Stars back in action. Should head coach Brad Stevens call on his young guns to step up once more?
