Two days after NBA legend Michael Jordan said he doesn't believe Stephen Curry is a Hall of Famer yet, the latter responded to the former Chicago Bulls' comments Thursday.

In an interview with SiriusXM NBA Radio, Curry - the best shooter in NBA history - insisted that the legendary basketball player, Jordan, would have a different answer if asked again.

When asked about Jordan's comment, Curry replied, "I love MJ. That’s my guy. He’s obviously, he’s the G.O.A.T. but I don’t know if it was a wordsmith thing or if he just kinda got in his own way. But, I’m sure if you ask him that question now, like straight up, does he think I’m getting in there, he probably would have a different answer. If you put the ‘…yet,’ then I’m cool with that (laughs)," Curry told SiriusXM NBA Radio on Thursday.

The sharpshooter, a two-time MVP and three-time champion, has career averages of 23.5 points, 4.5 rebounds and 6.6 assists with the Warriors while shooting 47.7 percent from the field, 43.6 percent from beyond the arc and 90.5 percent from the free-throw line.

Jordan made the comment on the "Today" show when he was asked to pick his dream five-man pick-up team. Jordan's team did not include Curry as he named Hakeem Olajuwon, Scottie Pippen, Magic Johnson and James Worthy as teammates in his fantasy starting five.

On being asked if Curry would be offended for being left out, Jordan cheekily responded, "I hope not. He's still a great player. Not a Hall of Famer yet, though. He's not."

Jordan was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2009.

Meanwhile, Warriors coach Steve Kerr, who was Jordan's teammate in Chicago Bulls between 1996 and 1998, later reacted saying Jordan has his own version of the Hall of Fame.

"I think Michael has his own version of the Hall of Fame. It's in his own head, so whatever that is, that's what it is," Kerr added.
