Former No. 1 overall pick Markelle Fultz remains inactive with a shoulder injury and there have been reports that his days with the Philadelphia 76ers might be numbered. The Athletic recently reported that 20-year-old guard has been playing with a wrist injury and "would prefer a fresh start with a new team."

However, Chris Sheridan of Get More Sports reported on Sunday that there is no interest in Fultz. Sheridan did note that should Fultz return to action, the teams most likely to consider adding the shooting guard are the Phoenix Suns and Orlando Magic

NBA writer Sam Amico of Amico Hoops reported Sunday that Cleveland Cavaliers have discussed a deal for Fultz.

Fultz's agent, Raymond Brothers, denied to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski that Fultz wants to be traded.

Fultz has not played since Nov. 19. He was seen on the bench Wednesday in the Sixers' home win over the New Orleans Pelicans. After missing most of his rookie season, Fultz has posted solid numbers in 19 games with Philadelphia. He is averaging 8.2 points, 3.7 rebounds and 3.1 assists.

The University of Washington prospect came into the NBA as a polished and productive shooter, but his career was seemingly derailed before it began. His shooting form changed before his rookie season, either as a result of a shoulder injury or a mental change.

Regardless of the cause, Fultz has been a significantly more reluctant shooter in the NBA than he was in college. Fultz shot 41 percent beyond the arc at Washington while averaging five attempts per game. This season, Fultz has only made four three-pointers in 19 games. He had a stretch of 10 consecutive games in November in which he did not attempt a shot from beyond the three-point line.
