NeNe Leakes set the record straight about recent reports that she and the rest of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” cast threatened to quit the show if Porsha Williams gets fired as a result of her role in an altercation with another cast member. Earlier this month, Williams attacked cast mate Kenya Moore at the taping of the show's reunion show, and allegedly producers are prepared to give her the ax.

TMZ claimed in an April 8 report that after the fight, the entire cast, minus one, threatened to leave the show. According to the report, “The women have made it clear ... they'll walk if Porsha gets fired.”

Leakes spoke with Essence in an article published Friday about the rumors.

“I don't know where that came from," she said. "I've never said that. We don't group up together to do much. You know all of us aren't goosing up together to be going to bat for Porsha. We don't collectively do anything. But I will say this: I don't think that Porsha deserves to get fired based on the fight with Kenya. I do think she was on the chopping block before she got into the fight. Fighting Kenya did not help her case.”

Moore reportedly taunted Williams during the reunion show taping, and the pair feuded throughout the season.

“Kenya brought sex toys to the reunion taping to taunt Porsha about Kordell’s sexuality, and she couldn’t take it anymore,” a source told Radar Online. “Porsha beat the s--- out of her! She is a little thing and she jumped on her and pulled her down to the ground by her hair -- and Kenya doesn’t have a weave, it is all her own hair."

TMZ released a recording of a 911 call in which Moore spoke with a dispatcher and asked for the police. When asked why, Moore said, “I’ve just been assaulted,” and that Williams was the perpetrator. "She hit me in my head and was fighting me, hitting me."

“The Real Housewives of Atlanta” season finale aired Sunday on Bravo. The reunion episode will air in two parts: The first half will premiere on April 20 and the second on April 27.
