  • Gigi Hadid narrated the third episode of the Netflix series

Gigi Hadid has replaced Chrissy Teigen as a narrator in the second season of Netflix's popular series "Never Have I Ever."

The second season dropped on Thursday and Hadid, 26, took to Twitter to share her experience narrating the new episode.

"Had the best time getting to narrate a new episode of @neverhaveiever!" she tweeted. "Check out Season 2 NOW on @netflix!"

The replacement took place following the recent cyberbullying incident involving Teigen.

Teigen was supposed to lend her voice to narrate one of the episodes in the Netflix series, which is created by Mindy Kaling, according to Variety. Last month the model was dropped from the project after a fellow model, Courtney Stodden revealed how Teigen "would privately DM me and tell me to kill myself. Things like, 'I can't wait for you to die.'"

Teigen also published an open letter to address the incident last month and noted that she is "truly ashamed." She took to Instagram on Wednesday to talk about her mental health but it wasn't well-received by netizens -- some even called the mother of two an "attention seeker."

Fans can, however, enjoy the Netflix series with Hadid’s voiceover in the third episode.

"This is Paxton Hall-Yoshida. He is a 16-year-old boy from Sherman Oaks, California, and I am model, designer, activist, and a former 16-year-old from California, Gigi Hadid," Hadid says in the opening dialogue.

"You may be asking yourself, ‘Why is Old Gigers taking time out of her busy skedge to narrate the story of a 16-year-old boy?’ Believe it or not, I relate to this kid. We’re both constantly underestimated because people only see us as sex symbols," she added.

The series revolves around the complicated life of an Indian American teenage girl. The story is inspired by Kaling's own childhood. Kaling is currently busy promoting the series with the lead actress of the show, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan.

She took to Instagram on Thursday to share a series of photos featuring herself and Ramakrishnan.

Ramakrishnan also shared photos from the press event in NYC.
