New details have emerged about the surprise split between rapper Big Sean and Naya Rivera. The young couple began dating last year, but Big Sean ended the relationship this week, just months after their engagement.

“After careful thought and much consideration, Sean has made the difficult decision to call the wedding off,” the rapper’s rep tells Us. “The recent rumors and accusations reported by so called or fake sources are simply untrue. Sean wishes Naya nothing but the best and it is still his hope that they can continue to work through their issues privately. We will not be commenting again on this matter." Big Sean is rumored to have cheated on her, and Star magazine claims he admitted to it, though his rep says that is untrue.

TMZ is now reporting that Rivera and Big Sean had issues in their relationship, such as jealousy. Rivera allegedly would demand to know where her fiancé was at all times and would threaten him, saying things like, "If you don't listen to what I say, I'll ruin your career."

That could have been her goal after it was announced their engagement was off. TMZ has a screenshot of a tweet Rivera allegedly posted to fans before deleting it. She accuses her ex-fiance of stealing from her. “@big sean stealing Rolexes from a lady’s house now. Maybe cuz I’m on Glee and making more money or something. #triflin [sic].”

During one fight, Rivera reportedly broke a lamp at his home and was suspicious of Big Sean whenever he worked with other women. The two even went to couples' counseling, but apparently that was not enough to salvage the relationship.
