2022 is nearing an end and it is time to adore a new set of Korean dramas on Netflix in the new year. Be it Sci-Fi, romance or action drama, this list of new Korean dramas that you can binge-watch on the streaming platform in the coming year has it all.

"Mask Girl"

This webtoon-based drama is led by one of South Korea's most sought-after models Nana who plays the role of Momi – a woman possessing an unattractive face but with a sexy body and exceptional dancing skills. Momi undergoes cosmetic surgery to increase her confidence.

"Mask Girl" also stars Ko Hyeon-Jeong who will portray an older Momi. Aside from Nana and Ko, the drama also stars Ahn Jae Hong, Yeom Hye Ran and Choi Daniel.

"Murder DIEary"

The show tells the story of a clash between a college student, played by Choi Woo-Shik, who develops a supernatural ability to discern bad guys after accidentally killing a serial killer while working at a convenience store. Choi becomes a sort of dark hero who goes after unpunished criminals in society.

Aside from Choi, the drama also stars Son Seok-Koo and Lee Hee-Joon.

"Gyeongseong Creature"

This much-talked-about historical drama starring Han So-Hee and Park Seo-Joon follows the story of an unlikely duo who are fighting against monsters that appeared in the Gyeongseong era in 1945.

Park plays the role of a wealthy and scheming merchant who accidentally crosses paths with a bounty hunter (Han) who has the ability to track down missing people, even if they are already dead.

"Queen Maker"

The drama casts Kim Hee-Ae as a master in public relations strategy who is also in charge of the strategic planning office and becomes a member of the election board to make human rights lawyer (Moon So-Ri) mayor of Seoul. Together, the pair join forces to rid society of unjust individuals and corrupt practices.

"Courier"

Yet another drama, this one is based on a webtoon of the same name. "Courier" casts Kim Woo-Bin on the lead and is set in 2071 when people can no longer live without a respirator due to severe air pollution on earth. Kim plays a delivery staff with supernatural fighting abilities who provides hope for refugees of the fictional Korean peninsula.
