KEY POINTS

  • Apple has not yet confirmed the existence of the iPhone 12 series
  • The Cupertino tech giant has not yet announced if it has plans of launching the rumored iPhone 12 line up this year
  • A new leak, however, claims that the iPhone 12 series might release with this accessory

While the current global health crisis might affect the launch of the iPhone 12 series, fans are hopeful that Apple would proceed as scheduled. Apple has not yet confirmed the debut of the much-awaited flagship series. Interestingly, a new set of photos leaked online revealing the last remaining unknown secret of the iPhone 12.

On Twitter, a leaker by the name Mr White, shared a couple of photos revealing one of the accessories that the iPhone 12 would be shipped with. Based on the photos, it looks like Apple’s flagship series would come with a 20-watt PD USB-C adapter. Sadly, the Apple tipster did not reveal which iPhone 12 models would be released with the said accessory.

It can be recalled that the Cupertino-based tech juggernaut equipped the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max with the 18-Watt adapter. Based on the historical pattern of the company, it is highly likely that Apple would ship the rumored 20-W adapter in iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max chargers. The 18-watt adapter was the first fast-charger that the Cupertino tech titan shipped on an iPhone box.

Earlier rumors claimed that Apple would introduce four iPhone 12 models this year. One would be the newest entry to the usual line up, which is a 5.4-inch iPhone. There would be a couple of iPhone 12 models with 6.1-inch size, and one 6.7-inch iPhone 12, according to whispers online.

Interestingly, rumors claimed that the 6.7-inch and 6.1-inch iPhone 12 models would feature a high-end OLED with a triple rear camera. While many assumed that these might be the only iPhone 12 models that would ship with the rumored 20-Watt adapter, there is a chance that all the iPhone 12 models might come with it. It is worth mentioning that although the tipster shared a couple of photos to prove the existence of the iPhone 12 20-watts adapter, it is still unofficial.

In this case, it is better to take this new information with a good measure of salt. Apple has not yet announced if it has plans of launching the rumored iPhone 12 series this year.
