“Star Wars: Battlefront 2” will have a single-player campaign starring an Imperial commander named Iden Versio. Now, another character for the upcoming shooter has been confirmed.

Actor Paul Blackthorne, mostly known for playing Quentin Lance on The CW’s “Arrow,” will be playing the character of Gideon Hask. Blackthorne gave the name of his “Battlefront 2” character on Twitter when asked about it by a fan.

The actor was first briefly seen on the behind-the-scenes video for “Battlefront 2” during Star Wars Celebration this past weekend, but details on who he was playing wasn’t given out at the time, according to IGN. Gideon Hask will be part of the Inferno Squad, an elite special forces squadron commanded by the game’s protagonist, Iden Versio.

Blackthorne didn’t give out anymore details on Hask, nor did he provide information on how he will fit into the game’s story. The actor did however say that Hask will have his likeness thanks to the “sophisticated” process of motion capture and his voice acting. “I’ve been having a blast working on this little gig the last few months,” Blackthorne said on Twitter.

Meanwhile, main protagonist Versio is being played by actor Janina Gavankar who’s acting credits include “True Blood” and “The Vampire Diaries.” Gavankar also briefly starred in the first season of “Arrow” as detective McKenna Hall who worked alongside Blackthorne’s character on the show.

The single-player story mode of “Battlefront 2” is being written by “Spec Ops: The Line” scribe, Walt Williams, and former IGN video game editor Mitch Dyer. “The Line” wasn’t really a massive success, but it’s writing was highly praised, as pointed out by Game Rant.

“Star Wars: Battlefront 2’s” storyline will start off during the Battle of Endor and the destruction of the second Death Star as seen in “Return of the Jedi.” The campaign spans 30 years and will cover the rise of The First Order just before the events seen in “The Force Awakens.”

“Star Wars: Battlefront 2” is slated to be released worldwide on Nov. 17, 2017.

For those who want to know more about the game’s protagonist, the novel “Inferno Squad,” written by Christie Golden, will serve as a prequel to the game’s campaign. The novel is also a sequel of sorts to “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” as it covers the formation of the the special squadron and its hunt for Saw Guerrera’s remaining Partisan extremists. “Inferno Squad” tie-in novel will be released on July 25, 2017.
