Activision has released a new trailer for “Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare” giving everyone a first look at the game’s story and campaign. The brand new story trailer also shows the first in-game footage of “Game of Thrones” star Kit Harington and UFC fighter Conor McGregor.

Harington plays the main villain of “Infinite Warfare,” Admiral Salen Kotch, while McGregor plays Kotch’s subordinate, Captain Bradley Fillion. Both characters are members of the Settlement Defense Front. Harington was shown multiple times in the trailer, while McGregor was only shown for a few seconds, as pointed out by GameSpot.

“After a simultaneous surprise attack on UNSA forces in Geneva and the Moon Port Gateway, Lt. Nick Reyes must take the helm of the Retribution, one of Earth’s last remaining warships. In a time of unthinkable adversity, Reyes must lead his trusted crew against the relentless Settlement Defense Front’s plans to dominate all who oppose them,” the official premise published by Activision reads.

The conflict in “Infinite Warfare” starts when the Earth’s resources began running dry. This prompted the Earth to go into space to solve the problem. However, this also led to the formation of the Settlement Defense Front, a group that wants to break away from the governmentto take total control over the fate of humanity.

The new story trailer for “Infinite Warfare” also shows a lot of the gameplay elements of the space warfare. Back in May, Activision said that air and space combat would be “a key aspect of the campaign.”

However, the trailer did also show a lot of boots-on-the-ground combat with some scenes taking place on Earth. The trailer also shows a lot more of Lt. Nick Reyes, the main protagonist of the game and the character that players will take control of.

“Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare” is scheduled to be released on Nov. 4 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and the PC. Those who’ve already pre-ordered the game will have exclusive access to the game’s multiplayer beta on October 14 for the PS4, according to GameRant.
