The Kansas City Chiefs, Seattle Seahawks and other top offenses should continue to have success in Week 5 of the 2020 NFL season. The Washington Football Team and Philadelphia Eagles will still struggle to score points behind poor quarterback play.

Here are the five best over/under picks in Week 5. Betting totals are courtesy of OddsShark.

Indianapolis Colts vs. Cleveland Browns Over 46.5

Indianapolis’ No.1 ranked defense is largely the result of a weak schedule. The Colts have yet to face a top-15 scoring team. They allowed the Jaguars to put up 27 points in the season opener. Cleveland is fourth in the NFL with 31.0 points per game, boasting the league’s No.1 rushing attack. The Browns haven’t given up fewer than 20 points in any contest, surrendering at least 30 points on three occasions.

Los Angeles Rams vs. Washington Football Team Under 45

Replacing Dwayne Haskins with Kyle Allen is unlikely to jumpstart Washington’s offense. Allen ended last season with 10 touchdown passes and 16 interceptions in his last nine games. Washington is second-to-last in yards per play and third-to-last with 19.8 points per game. Los Angeles has held all the other three NFC East teams to fewer than 20 points. Washington has only allowed 47 total points in the two games during which Chase Young played.

Philadelphia Eagles vs. Pittsburgh Steelers Under 44.5

This should be a low-scoring game between a pair of teams that are playing well defensively but struggling to find their footing on offense. Pittsburgh and Philadelphia rank third and fifth, respectively, in opponents’ yards per play. The Eagles and Steelers are first and second in sacks. Pittsburgh hasn’t scored more than 28 points in a game, while Philadelphia’s offense hasn’t been responsible for more than 23 points in any contest.

Las Vegas Raiders vs. Kansas City Chiefs Over 55

Las Vegas is 27th in opponents’ yards per play. The Raiders have given up at least 30 points in three games, surrendering more than 23 points in all four contests. Mahomes has started four career games against the Raiders, and Kansas City is averaging 35.8 points in those matchups. Las Vegas has scored at least 20 points in every game this season. Kansas City gave up 20 points in three straight games before facing Brian Hoyer and New England.

Minnesota Vikings vs. Seattle Seahawks Over 56.5

Seattle has scored more than 30 points in every single game. Russell Wilson will continue to perform like an MVP against a Minnesota defense that hasn’t given up fewer than 23 points in any contest. The Vikings rank 25th in opponents’ yards per play and 29th in total defense. The Seahawks are 29th in opponents’ yards per play and dead last in total defense. Seattle defeated Minnesota 37-30 last season, and both defenses appear to be worse in 2020.
