A handful of marquee games stand out on the NFL Week 9 schedule. There are three key divisional matchups, as well as a pair of battles between top NFC and AFC contenders.

The Kansas City Chiefs host the Green Bay Packers in what has been viewed as a potential Super Bowl preview. Despite Kansas City’s struggles, the Chiefs have opened as short favorites over the first-place Packers. Patrick Mahomes and Aaron Rodgers have never gone head-to-head in the regular season.

Based on records, the matchup between the Tennessee Titans and Los Angeles Rams on “Sunday Night Football” is the best of Week 9. Both teams are in the latest playoff picture. Titans running back Derrick Henry and Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford have been in the early-season MVP conversation.

Thursday night features the biggest betting line of Week 9. The Indianapolis Colts are favored by two touchdowns over the New York Jets.

The Buffalo Bills are the only other team that opens Week 9 as a double-digit favorite. The Las Vegas Raiders and New England Patriots are short road favorites.

“Monday Night Football” is a matchup between two of the league’s worst offenses. The betting total for the Chicago Bears and Pittsburgh Steelers is the week’s lowest at 40.5.

The Detroit Lions, Seattle Seahawks, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Washington Football Team all have a bye in Week 9.
