Lamar Jackson smashed all notions of him being a running back-turned-quarterback after his Week 5 performance, and everyone on the Baltimore Ravens is behind him.

Speaking to the media after a massive comeback win over the Indianapolis Colts, Ravens personnel took time to praise his outstanding work.

Head coach John Harbaugh quickly credited their win to his quarterback’s strong play.

“It's one of the greatest performances I've ever seen. He was under pressure, and he created plays with his feet. It starts with Lamar [Jackson]. He deserves the credit,” said the longtime Ravens coach.

Despite a fumble, Jackson put up 442 passing yards and a game-high 62 rushing yards for 504 of the team’s 523 total yards with no interceptions.

Baltimore’s chances of winning runs through him, and all the players know it.

“Man, he's amazing. It never surprises me. When we were down, we wanted to iron it up, [figure out] what we had to do to come back and win, and it all happened how we said it was going to happen,” beamed receiver Marquise Brown.

The 24-year-old receiver caught two touchdown passes from the unanimous 2019 NFL MVP, including the game-winner in overtime.

Tight end Mark Andrews, who scored the crucial two-point conversion late in the fourth quarter, joined in on the fun.

“He's always growing. He just sees the game so well. He leads guys and puts them in the right spot [and] puts the ball in the right spot. Some of the throws he's able to make today, it's just like, he makes our job easy," Andrews stated.

Standout Ravens rookie linebacker Odafe Oweh also credited Jackson for his leadership role, whether in-game or during practice.

"He does it every day in practice. He's 'G.O.A.T.E.D.,' man. We're just watching history right there. It's an honor to see that. He carried the team. He has the 'no flinch' mentality–they [the offense] went through adversity as well. They bounced back and brought it home for us," Oweh shared

The Ravens defense was particularly weak in this game, giving up a season-high 513 yards to the Carson Wentz-led Colts offense.

Jackson and the Ravens will look to continue their winning ways as they welcome the Los Angeles Chargers to the M&T Bank Stadium on Sunday, October 17 for Week 6.
