It sounds like Kliff Kingsbury won’t have trouble getting an NFL job after being fired by Texas Tech. The former head coach of the Red Raiders is reportedly getting plenty of interest from teams at the next level.

According to NFL.com’s Gil Brandt, Kingsbury already has two firm offers from NFL teams. It’s unknown what the offers exactly are, though Jay Glazer of FOX Sports and The Athletic reported Tuesday the coach could become an offensive coordinator for several teams.

Texas Tech went 5-7 in the 2018 college football season, finishing tied for seventh place in the Big 12. Kingsbury went 35-40 in six years as the team’s head coach, recording just two winning seasons.

Kingsbury was the offensive coordinator at Texas A&M the season before taking the job at Texas Tech. The Red Raiders are 11th in total offense this year. Before finishing 23rd in scoring average last year, Texas Tech ranked fifth in 2016 with 43.7 points per game and second in 2015 with 45.1 points per contest.

There should be a bunch of offensive coordinator openings for the 2019 NFL season. The Jacksonville Jaguars fired offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett Monday. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Cleveland Browns, New York Jets and possibly the Cincinnati Bengals could be among the teams looking for new coaching staffs.
