Tom Brady just won his sixth Super Bowl with the New England Patriots. The quarterback also did it at 41 years old, and it looks like the team won't wait for him to retire in order to find his successor.

The rumors over the last few weeks ago suggest that New England is actively trying to find the signal caller that will eventually replace Brady. The Patriots have reportedly expressed interest in making a trade for a young quarterback, in addition to meeting with quarterbacks they might possibly take in the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft.

According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the Patriots are meeting with both Duke’s Daniel Jones and West Virginia’s Will Grier Wednesday.

Several reports indicate that Jones has a good chance to be taken in the first round, and the Patriots might have to trade up from the No. 32 overall pick in order to select him. Grier could go at the end of the first round or even in the second round, possibly allowing New England to use their first selection on him.

New England has also been linked to Josh Rosen this offseason. Amid rumors that the Arizona Cardinals will likely draft Kyler Murray with the No.1 overall pick and trade Rosen, Fox Sports’ Joel Klatt has previously reported that the Patriots are one of at least three teams that have pursued Rosen.

Arizona moved up from the No. 15 overall pick to No.10 in last year's draft to take Rosen. There were rumors a year ago that the Patriots had some interest in drafting Rosen.

Brady’s 97.7 passer rating in the 2018 season was his worst rating in four years. He will turn 42 years old before the start of the preseason.
