Nick Jonas has been tapped to be the host and musical guest on an upcoming episode of “Saturday Night Live.”

On Saturday, the 28-year-old announced the big news through a post on Instagram. Jonas shared a photo of post-it notes with his name and the date of his upcoming gig.

“A dream come true. Let’s get it @nbcsnl!! See you February 27th!” he captioned the photo.

When Jonas takes the “SNL” stage fans can expect him to perform his new single, “Spaceman,” which is scheduled to be released on Thursday, Feb. 25.

The singer gave fans a look at the cover art for the new single on Saturday by sharing a photo of himself in what appeared to be a rocky area. “‘Spaceman’ launches February 25th. The countdown begins now,” he captioned the post.

News of Jonas’ hosting gig comes one day after he appeared to tease the “Spaceman” music video. On Friday, the singer shared an IG video of himself being filmed while dressed as an astronaut.

At one point, Jonas appears to be swept away by an unknown force. “See you up there... #spaceman,” he captioned the clip.

“Spaceman” marks Jonas’ first solo song since his 2018 single “Right Now,” Entertainment Tonight reports. In 2019, the singer released the “Happiness Begins” album with his band The Jonas Brothers, which was their first new album in 10 years.

Jonas, along with his brothers Joe Jonas and Kevin Jonas, performed on “Saturday Night Live” that same year. The “Find You” singer was previously a musical guest on the NBC sketch show in 2016 with host Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Variety reports.

Jonas won’t be the first artist to pull double duty as the host and musical during his “SNL” appearance. Over the years, Harry Styles, Drake, Chance the Rapper, and Halsey have all successfully pulled off balancing the two roles.
