Halo Awards
The 2014 Nickelodeon HALO Awards will air on Nov. 30 to honor teens serving their communities. Nick

On Sunday the Nickelodeon HALO Awards returns to turn awards shows on their heads. Instead of celebrities receiving awards at Nick’s 6th annual concert event, they will be giving them to a group of select kids for their extraordinary service to their communities – HALO stands for “helping and leading others.” The HALO Awards will be a star-studded event featuring live musical performances from fan-favorite acts and appearances by Nickelodeon stars.

The event will be hosted by “America’s Got Talent” host Nick Cannon, who helped found the awards in 2009. Nick Jonas, Meghan Trainor, The Roots, Echosmith, The Vamps, and Fifth Harmony will perform, while Zendaya Coleman, Carlos PenaVega, Sydney Park, Jack Griffo, Kira Kosarin, Benjamin Flores Jr., Breanna Yde, Leon Thomas, and Matt Bennett will make appearances as presenters.

Among the teens being honored at the HALO Awards are Lulu Cerone, founder of LemonAID Warriors, Yash Gupta of Sight Learning, Project T.G.I.F. creator Cassandra Lin, Nicholas Lowinger, founder of the Gotta Have A Sole Foundation, and Alanna Wall of Polished Girlz.

The hour-long Nickelodeon HALO Awards will air at 7 p.m. EST on Nick. There will also be a live-stream available on Nick.com and the Nick App. Tune in Sunday for the exciting performances and impressive teen philanthropists.
