Is Nicki Minaj Planning Wedding, Babies With New Boyfriend Kenneth Petty?

Nicki Minaj has already begun marriage and baby talks with her new flame Kenneth Petty, sources close to the "Anaconda" rapper told TMZ. It's just been a few months that Minaj started dating Petty — a registered sex offender in New York.

Despite the controversies surrounding Petty's past life, Minaj is way more serious about the relationship than fans thought. TMZ reported Meek Mill's ex-girlfriend "couldn't care less" about Petty's conviction for being a sex offender, nor about his other crimes. According to sources, Minaj is serious about the prospect of marrying Petty and having his kids as she believes he's that good a man.

Petty was reportedly convicted of first-degree attempted rape in April 1995 when both he and the victim were 16 years old. He was sentenced to four years in New York state prison, according to court records obtained by TMZ. The 40-year-old was also convicted of first-degree manslaughter after his release.

After reports of her relationship made the rounds, along with details about Petty's conviction, Minaj defended her boyfriend.

"He was 15, she was 16...in a relationship. But go awf (sic), Internet. y'all can't run my life. Y'all can't even run you own life," Minaj responded to a fan who brought up his criminal record.

Minaj confirmed her relationship with Petty on Sunday via Instagram after speculation of their involvement grew when he appeared on her Snapchat previously.

TMZ reported late Tuesday that Minaj has known Petty since they were teenagers and is “confident he’s matured.” The duo first started dating when she was 16 years old and lived in Queens, New York City. She’s also referred to him as “one of her first loves.” Sources told TMZ they still have “great chemistry” despite all the time that has passed since they first got together.

Recently, Minaj took to her Instagram account to post photos with Petty as several fans raised concerns about her dating the sex offender. In one of the photos, Minaj is seen posing on a bed with Petty, who snaps their picture in a mirror. “Oh they wanna talk? Let’s give’m smthn to talk about,” she captioned the image.

Minaj has previously been linked to Safaree Samuels, Meek Mill and Nas.
