Nicki Minaj attended the Fashion Los Angeles Awards 2017 at the Sunset Tower Hotel last Sunday, and she grabbed the chance to take some photos with the star-studded crowd. Among the people the “No Frauds” singer got the chance to pose for the camera with were “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” star Kim Kardashian and The Black Eyed Peas vocalist Fergie.

On Monday, Minaj took to Instagram to share some snaps she took at the fashion event. She got to pose with Josh Duhamel’s wife for two photos. The pics were special to Minaj, since Fergie was the one who presented her with the Fashion Rebel Award that evening.

Minaj also took the opportunity to hang out Kanye West’s wife that night. The two rocked contrasting looks, with Kardashian wearing an all-white dress and Minaj donning a black ensemble. Minaj did not forget to compliment the reality TV star by writing that Kardashian was “lookin sexy per usual.”

Minaj also recognized the late Michael Jackson’s daughter Paris, who was apparently in the snap the rapper took with Lee Daniels. Queen Barbz pointed out in one of her posts that the 19-year-old stunner subtly photobombed them, and she also recognized that Paris delivered a great speech at the awards show.

Speaking of awards, Minaj shared a clip of her acceptance speech after being presented with the Fashion Rebel Award. Meek Mill’s ex brought out some laughs among the audience when she shared a funny anecdote of Anna Wintour asking to be her date for the New York Fashion Week a couple of years ago.

“A lot of years ago, my publicist called me and told me that someone wanted me to be their date for New York Fashion Week for three shows. I was like, 'Oh, OK,‘” Minaj opened her speech. “Turns out to be some really influential lady in fashion. Her name was Anna Wintour.”

The “Anaconda” hitmaker gave a shout-out to the Vogue editor-in-chief and to the people who supported her while she was just starting her career, including Alexander Wang, Tommy Hilfiger and the people behind Elle and Cosmopolitan.

Finally, Minaj included an empowering message to all the women in the world when she candidly spoke about insecurities. “We all have insecurities. I want to say, shout-out to all of the … women, not only in this room, but all around the world,” Minaj said. “You know what, we win and fail in the public eye. That's not easy to do. People think they know what it requires. People think they can do it. Everybody wants to walk in your shoes, until you put them in your shoes.”
