Nicki Minaj feels like she’s on top of the world and it’s all thanks to husband Kenneth Petty. The singer on Friday got candid about her married life and described it as “refreshing and calming.”

"Even if you're not married, when you have someone that feels like your soulmate or someone who understands you, it just makes you feel like you're on top of the world," the rapper said during an appearance on Young Money Radio with Lil Wayne.

Minaj and Petty got married in October last year, after dating for less than a year. However, they have known each other for decades.

Since getting married, fans have been wondering when Minaj would expand her family and her recent Instagram photos have further fuelled pregnancy speculation.

In one recent topless photograph, where Minaj is seen sporting colorful pasties, she is strategically covered up and fans believe she could be hiding a baby bump. Another photo of Minaj posing in front of Baby Shark, a popular children song mascot, also has fans believing she’s gearing up to announce her pregnancy.

Interestingly, Minaj herself has been dropping pregnancy hints since May.

On May 7 she tweeted about having cravings.

“Steak. Shrimp. Plus my famous cheeseburgers. So good. Been really having red meat cravings then salad cravings with extra jalapeños. Ordered chicken nachos that didn’t come with jalapeños. Who does that? Wow,” she wrote.

The “Anaconda” singer also tweeted about having “nausea and peeing nonstop.” “Omg what do u think this means guys???? Lmaooooooooooo,” she asked.

However, when a fan asked if she would be revealing her baby bump any time soon, Minaj said the world wasn’t ready for that just yet.

Minaj loves children and on more than one occasion, the rapper has spoken about her desire to start a family.

In 2019 song with Chance The Rapper, she said that she was “’bout to walk down the aisle and be a mommy.” The previous year, she told Wonderland that she loved children and wouldn’t delay having kids “for much longer.”
