Nicki Minaj’s Ex, Safaree Samuels, Sparks Rumors He’s Dating ‘Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood’ Star Nikki Mudarris [VIDEO]

Safaree Samuels may have a new Nikki in his life. The rapper, who split from Nicki Minaj in 2014, sparked rumors he’s dating “Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood” star Nikki Mudarris after they were spotted together in Los Angeles.

In a video taken by paparazzi Friday, Samuels and Mudarris are seen holding hands as they make their way toward a waiting black SUV. Mudarris also has a bouquet of red roses in one hand. When asked whether they are dating, Samuels laughs and Mudarris responds, “Y’all so nosy.”

Samuels had a very public and messy breakup with Minaj two years ago, after 11 years of them being together. In March, Minaj opened up about the split, telling Nylon (via Us Weekly) that it influenced her 2014 album “The Pinkprint. “I needed time to hear myself think again,” she said. “Because where I left off with ‘The Pinkprint’ was a little bit emotionally unstable. … Now, I want my happiness to be reflected in the new stuff.”

In January 2015, Samuels went on a New York radio station's "The Breakfast Club" show, revealing that he was the one who pulled the plug on his relationship with Minaj. “I’m not going to say I broke up, but I’m the one who walked away. I packed up my stuff and I left,” he explained. “I just got to the point where the respect wasn’t there. Everyone around her works for her, you know? … And it got to the point where I was being treated like an employee, instead of like her man.”

Minaj has since moved on, dating rapper Meek Mill, with whom Samuels feuded last year.
