Nicole Kidman rarely speaks about her children, but she opened up about her adopted kids with Tom Cruise in a recent interview. The actress said that both Isabella and Connor had English accents while they were kids, and the former feels “more English” now.

Kidman and Cruise lived in London while they filmed movies like “Eyes Wide Shut,” “The Portrait of a Lady” and “Mission: Impossible.” The consequence of this was that their two adopted children had English accents when they were little, the actress told Vanity Fair in an interview.

Isabella and Connor are all grown up now. Connor lives in Miami and he is into music. Isabella on the other hand launched her own t-shirt brand recently, and she lives in London. According to Kidman her daughter “feels more English.”

Kidman was married to Cruise between 1990 and 2001. She married Keith Urban in 2006, and they have two daughters; 10-year-old Sunday and 8-year-old Faith. In her interview, the actress said that some of the rules she has for her children make her “unpopular.”

“They don’t have a phone and I don’t allow them to have an Instagram,” Kidman said. The actress explained that it was her way of keeping some “boundaries” for the kids.

Kidman is currently promoting her hit show “Big Little Lies.” In a previous interview with “The Ellen Show,” Kidman revealed that her children have cameos as extras in the upcoming season of the show. The actress confirmed that her children haven’t seen the show yet because they are too young.

Although she has a busy schedule with her work, both as an actress and as a producer, Kidman manages to find time to spend with her children. She recently went to a beach with her daughters to celebrate Earth Day, which was on April 22, and she shared pictures of the trip on Instagram.
