The investigators determined that Hartle was the little girl’s mother but did not reveal the identity of the victim. Hartle has received no bond and she is scheduled to appear in court Monday.

Major Frank Stout with Henderson County sheriff confirmed to ABC13 that violent crime detectives were sent to a residence of a mobile home park on Fiesta Lane on reports of a stabbing Sunday. The crime scene tape was put at five different sites and the victim’s body was removed at around 4:30 p.m. the outlet reported.

The sheriff’s office said that the incident was isolated and there is no further danger to the public.

Jan Harvey, a neighbor who reportedly lives two doors down the family, told the outlet that the 5-year-old lived with her mother and the latter’s husband. “It’s very unsettling. I am praying for the family,” Harvey said.
