NYSE Euronext , which runs the New York Stock Exchange, said on Thursday there were delays in stock quotes on the NYSE and the NYSE Amex cash markets.

The exchange operator said in a brief status alert it was in the process of restoring quotes in the range A through HZZ and would issue further updates.
