COPENHAGEN - U.S. President Barack Obama has invited Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao for another bilateral meeting to discuss outstanding issues on a U.N. climate change agreement, the White House said in a statement.

Wen accepted the invitation, a White House spokesman said.

The meeting was scheduled to take place at 7:00 p.m. local time on Friday, pushed back from an original 6:15 p.m. to allow for a larger multi-lateral meeting with other countries to take place beforehand.

The two leaders met for nearly an hour earlier in the day.

China and the United States, the world's largest emitters of greenhouse gases, largely hold the key to the success of the talks to form an international pact to fight global warming.
