In a shocking home invasion reported from Cleveland, Ohio, an armed man broke into his friend’s house and shot his pet dog to death and injured the other. The incident reportedly took place because the suspect was angry that his friend had asked to return the truck that he had borrowed.

It happened at a home on Lardet Avenue near East 116th Street Thursday (April 30) night.

According to the police, the owner of the dog, a 61-year-old unnamed man, told officials that he had loaned his truck to the suspect who was a friend. He had asked the suspect to return the vehicle by 8:30 a.m. that morning.

The man said that when the friend asked him if he could continue using the truck he denied. The suspect returned with the truck later that day.

The man then drove with his friend and dropped him off at a corner store near his home. The man then went back to his home.

A while later, he was shocked to find his friend at his house. The friend kicked the door to the man’s home and made his way in. He was angry and armed.

The suspect then opened fire at the man’s two pet dogs who came for their owner’s rescue. One of the dogs died at the scene and the other suffered critical injuries. The suspect then immediately fled the crime scene before the police arrived. According to the police, the owner suffered no injuries from the shooting.

The identity of the suspect has not yet been revealed and no arrests were reported.

The condition of the second dog is still unknown. Police are investigating the case and no additional information is available at the moment.
