The 1000th chapter of “One Piece” would drop in 2021, but it seems that “One Piece” Chapter 998 would give a surprise treat to fans with the spoilers teasing that Luffy’s well-loved brother might reappear.

The fresh set of “One Piece” Chapter 998 spoilers is courtesy of gyrozepp95, Redon and Korean insiders. According to the latest batch of details, the silhouette of Luffy’s deceased brother, Portgas D. Ace, would be shown at the end of the chapter. Nothing much is revealed about Ace’s appearance, but it looks like fans would see more of Ace in “One Piece” Chapter 999.

There is something in the spoilers that hint about Portgas D. Ace, though. According to “One Piece” Chapter 998 spoilers, Yamato would see a statue of a beaten dragon and would mention that a friend broke it. Kaido’s daughter would allegedly say that a man came to kill her father a few years ago.

Yamato’s statement drew a lot of speculations from the fandom. Some believe that the man she is referring to could be Shanks, while others theorize that it is Ace. A few years before the Straw Hats landed on the Land of Wano, his brother Ace visited the country. It was during this visit that he met Tama and got close with Yamato.

There is a chance that “One Piece” Chapter 999 might show more of Ace’s flashback since according to the spoilers the upcoming chapter would end with Ace’s silhouette. But, there is also a high possibility that Ace appearance would simply end in “One Piece” Chapter 998. Meanwhile, the spoilers also mention that Who’s Who already knows Jinbei when he was still a Shichibukai.

According to “One Piece” Chapter 998 spoilers, Jinbei wants to know the identity of Who’s Who. Because of this, he would reportedly remove the Tobi Roppo’s mask. Other potential scenes that fans should look forward to in the upcoming chapter includes the fight between Sanji and Black Maria and Franky vs Sasaki.

“One Piece” Chapter 998 is set to release on Dec. 13. There would be no break after the launch, which means “One Piece” 999 would be released on Dec. 20.
