One Piece" Chapter 999 will reveal the real purpose of Ace's trip to Onigashima, as well as his relationship with Yamato, if the latest set of spoilers are to go by.

Thanks to Redon, gyrozepp95 and "One Piece" Korean insiders, the fandom now has the idea of what to expect in the upcoming chapter of the fan-favorite manga. Based on "One Piece" Chapter 999 spoilers, Portgas D. Ace came to the Land of Wano, particularly in Onigashima to rescue the children from the mainland that was kidnapped by Kaido's minions. It might have something to do with Tama since Ace was washed away in the beach near Tama's village. There is a chance that as Luffy's brother grows acquainted with the villagers, he learned about their sad and cruel plight under Kaido's reign and decided to take matters into his own hands.

The fresh set of "One Piece" Chapter 999 spoilers also mentions that when Ace went to Onigashima, the captain of the Beasts Pirates was on an expedition. So, it seems that instead of Kaido, Ace met his son Yamato. Apparently, they fought and later developed a unique bond.

The former second division commander of the Whitebeard Pirates told Yamato that the parents of these kidnapped children are left without any choice. Yamato and Ace became friends with the former expressing her ambition of going out to the sea and living freely like his idol Kozuki Oden. The spoilers also reveal that Ace told Kaido's son about the young pirates of the sea, including his brother Luffy.

It looks like "One Piece" Chapter 999 is a tribute or a flashback about Ace. Marco will reportedly think about Ace for a brief period. There is also a mention of Tama learning that Ace is Luffy's brother.

"One Piece" Chapter 999 will reportedly show Marco the Phoenix flying toward the roof of the Skull Dome with Roronoa Zoro. However, it seems that they might not reach their destination yet since according to the latest spoilers, a more powerful version of King the Conflagration and Queen the Plague would be there to prevent them. Will fans see the Marco vs. Queen and the Zoro vs. King fight in "One Piece" Chapter 1,000? Well, that remains to be seen.
