A fresh set of early scans was recently shared by Reddit user World Government in the “One Piece” subreddit. One interesting detail that really stands out is the mention that it was Kanjuro’s first time to go to Onigashima, and he got lost along the way. It also notes that the Straw Hat Alliance bested him on reaching the island since Luffy and Kidd’s crew are starting to infiltrate Kaido’s mansion.

Kanjuro plays a crucial role in the upcoming chapter of “One Piece” since he has all the information about the opposing alliance, and he knows their secret plan against Kaido and Orochi. Some fans predict that Kanjuro might change his mind and would not turnover Momonosuke to the Shogun of the Wano Country. Others think that he will tell Kaido and Orochi all that he has learned about the Straw Hats Alliance so they could prepare for their counter-attack.

It looks like fans are going to see Kanjuro’s plan in the upcoming chapter of the popular manga series.

Aside from Kanjuro, the latest set of scans of “One Piece” Chapter 979 also reveals that one of the reasons why Kaido wants to see the Flying Six is for Big Mom to see the team’s strength. Based on the scans, the Tobi Roppo is tasked to look for Kaido’s son, and once the team finds him, they would be given a chance to challenge the Calamities for a seat in the All-Star. Apart from this, earlier scans revealed that “One Piece” Chapter 979 would show Big Mom wearing a Kimono.
