Chinese smartphone giant OnePlus has, finally, introduced to the world its latest smartphone, the OnePlus 7T. The much-awaited big reveal was done at an event in London, England.

Just six months after the release of the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro, the Chinese handset maker is back with a whole new breed of a smartphone. As expected by many, the new smartphone offers a lot of improvement and spec upgrades. The new device brings speedier fast-charging, more powerful Snapdragon 855+ processor, exciting new features like the new Nightscape mode and the new Macro Mode.

According to the mobile-focused website GSM Arena, the OnePlus 7T brings a new triple camera setup, along with the 6.55-inch AMOLED display and a more powerful Snapdragon 855+ processor. But, the biggest addition is the 90Hz high refresh rate panel.

The new handset is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ mobile processor, bringing 15 percent higher graphics performance. It added 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, however, the storage will not be expandable.

Users can always rely on cloud back-up services in case of storage shortage or technical trouble. It should be noted that the device offers only a single memory configuration, which is the 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

The Chinese smartphone giant has made a huge leap in the camera system, adding a new triple camera setup. The device's primary camera is the 48-megapixel Sony sensor, which is equipped with optical image stabilization technology that used for removing any shakes in low-light images.

In addition to the triple-camera setup, the owners of the OnePlus 7T will benefit from the latest photography technologies. These include the new Nightscape mode, which leverages the pixel-packed main sensor and the ultra-wide-angle camera so that the phone can gather tons of data in low-light conditions, and the new Macro Mode, which is designed to improve camera shots.

The company also made a number of minor improvements. These include the Haptic Vibration motor and the in-display fingerprint scanner, which now much faster and more accurate.

Finally, there’s a new fast-charging technology. The new device has support for Warp Charge 30T, which said to be 18 percent faster than the one used in OnePlus 7 Pro device. This new charging technology is capable of refilling the smartphone from zero to 7 percent in just half an hour. That’s much faster than fast-charging in iPhone, Huawei Mate 30 Pro and even Samsung Galaxy S10. The OnePlus 7T runs on a version of the Android 10 operating system.

Price starts at £549 ($684) and the new device will be made available in the U.K. market starting on October 17. Unfortunately, the new device will not be made available in the U.S. market.
