OnePlus has recently confirmed that it will make the OnePlus Care App available in North America before November ends. The OnePlus Care App allows users to send in service requests and monitor the repair status of their OnePlus devices. The company introduced this app a couple of years ago and was initially available in India.

Fortunately, the latest confirmation from the company is an excellent news for OnePlus users located in the US and Canada. The announcement was picked up by 9to5Google from the official OnePlus community forums. OnePlus’ Service Strategy and Operations Lead Tom Bruno shared that the Care App will soon be made available for users located in North America.

The paid OnePlus Care service is only available in India, but it would be a popular service if released in other regions. The launch of the app in North America hints at a possible global release in the near future. The Chinese smartphone maker has not yet revealed the exact release date of the said app but assured that it would keep everyone posted of the app’s availability in North America.

Additionally, OnePlus has not yet confirmed if it is planning to launch the OnePlus Care Program in North America along with the Care App. Last month, the program was announced in India, and the company even offered a long list of benefits. This includes a free one-year extended warranty, as well as, an upgrade plan that guarantees trade-in value when users trade in their old OnePlus phones for a new one.

Additionally, users could also avail of a 50 percent discount on battery replacement with the OnePlus Care program. The Chinese smartphone maker also plans to introduce more attractive perks under the said program. Meanwhile, OnePlus recently announced that it is working to introduce WhatsApp support to regions under the European Union. This is the Chinese smartphone maker’s way of providing its users with another conventional medium to contact support.
