Oprah Winfrey has interviewed hundreds of celebrities, as well as world leaders, and now, she’s added Meghan Markle and Prince Harry to her impressive resume. With all her fame and successes, what exactly is her fortune?

The TV guru’s interview with the former Duke and Duchess of Sussex aired on Sunday on CBS and people around the world can’t stop talking about it. She really dug deep into the couple’s minds and got the real story about their relationship with the rest of the royal family.

CBS is said to have paid the Oprah Winfrey's Harpo Production company at least $7 million for this specific special. (The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were not paid.)

The 67-year-old is still making history after decades on television, and with all her interviews and success up until this point, she’s cumulated a whopping $2.7 billion net worth, according to Forbes.

What started as just a talk show, “The Oprah Winfrey Show,” has grown into a worldwide empire that’s included her being the first African-American to own her own production company, Harpo Productions, being nominated for an Oscar for her acting and being TV’s highest-paid entertainer, according to the National Women’s Hall of Fame.

With all of her wealth, she also gives back to many philanthropic organizations and charities. She’s provided financial assistance to students at schools like Morehouse College, Tennessee State University, Chicago Academy of Arts and Chicago Public Schools and funds various battered women’s shelters and works with organizations eradicating child abuse.

If that wasn’t enough, she’s a well-known author, too. She’s written dozens of books including “What I Know For Sure,” “Journey to Beloved” and “What Happened to You?”

Until her Apple TV+ documentary airs about her life story, fans can watch the Markle and Prince Harry interview on CBS.com.
