Sebastian Stan attended the "Pam & Tommy" series finale screening held at The Greek Theater in Los Angeles on Tuesday where he talked about his portrayal of Tommy Lee as a rockstar.

The 39-year-old actor revealed the most difficult part of his transformation into the character. "The drums," Stan said while speaking to ET on the red carpet. "Because I don't play the drums. I don't play any musical instruments. So just kind of going at it and learning from scratch was pretty terrifying."

Lee, now 59 years old, is popularly known as the founding member of 80s heavy metal band, Mötley Crüe in which he played the drums. The band members also include bassist Nikki Sixx, guitarist Mick Mars and singer Vince Neil.

"I guess he was labelled as the greatest drummer in the world, so it just felt like they were big shoes to fill," Stan said. "But I did my best."

The actor was also asked if there are any possibilities of him earning awards for his portrayal of Lee or his co-star Lily James, who played Pamela Anderson in the series.

"I would be great, I'm sure, [but] I think we did this with the best intentions to try to further the conversation in a way," he explained. "Relook at events that we thought we knew, process them hopefully differently and that's sort of all we can hope for. Everything else after that is, I guess, icing on the cake."

"Pam & Tommy" is based on the true story of Anderson and Lee, whose sex tape was leaked in the 90s and subsequently went viral. The "Baywatch" star and her then-husband filmed the said sex tape during their honeymoon trip in 1995.

The video was stolen and distributed online via the Internet Entertainment Group. The former couple ended up filing a lawsuit against the distributor.

Stan also praised his co-star James' transformation, noting that he completely forgot that she had an English accent.

"Pam & Tommy" dropped on the Hulu platform on Feb. 2 and the final episode of the series will release Wednesday evening. Stan will be next seen in the movies like "Sharper" and "The Brutalist."
