The second-generation of Pebble smartwatches is now available for pre-order through the Pebble website. Pebble Time Steel has a stainless steel chassis and comes in three colors -- black, silver and gold.

Pre-orders will be shipped in six to eight weeks according to the Pebble website, and there are two different options to choose from. The first is either the black, silver or gold chassis with a leather band; the second has the same colors but the watch comes with a leather band and a stainless steel band.

The watch with the leather band is priced at $249.99; both bands it will set you back $299.98, which is perfect if you’re going into important meetings and want something a bit more spiffy.

The Pebble Time Steel has essentially the same features as the original Pebble Time watch, with users able to manage notifications, calendar events, calls, music and fitness tracking from their wrist.

The watch has a color display and apparently 10 days of battery life, and it ships with a magnetic USB charging cable.
