Buzzcocks front man Pete Shelley died Thursday at the age of 63 from a suspected heart attack, the BBC has reported.

The band’s management told the BBC that Shelley died on Thursday in Estonia, where he was living.

The British punk rock band that was best known for the hit “Ever Fallen in Love (With Someone You Shouldn’tve )” has been regarded as an influential force on the 1970s music scene.

An outpouring of love and support for Shelley and the band’s music has already hit social media.

The Buzzcocks was formed in 1976. Shelley was a songwriter, lead singer, and guitarist for the band.
