June’s free games for PlayStation Plus subscribers will feature two types of scary experiences for gamers: zombies and high school. Sony announced Wednesday June’s upcoming free games for PlayStation Plus subscribers: Killing Floor 2 and Life Is Strange.

In Killing Floor 2, players must fight against waves of zombies using a variety of weapons. In either a single-player or multiplayer co-op mode, players must use teamwork to ensure they successfully clear out each zombie wave. Players can also choose character classes in each match like a medic or support specialist for added strategic planning. After each round, players can use currency earned from zombie kills to purchase supplies and weapons to use during missions.

Killing Floor 2 is set in Europe after a viral outbreak has caused zombies to spread throughout the country. The game was originally released in 2016 and follows 2009’s Killing Floor. Check out a trailer for the game below:

Life Is Strange is a third-person adventure title that comes from developer Dontnod Entertainment. In the game, you play as Max Caulfield, a photography student who learns she has the ability to rewind time. In the five-part episodic title, players must navigate through puzzles and other quests as Max tries to prevent a storm she saw in a premonition from destroying her hometown.

Previously, Dontnod Entertainment was best known for producing 2013’s Remember Me, a third-person action-adventure title published by Capcom. Life Is Strange also earned hefty plaudits from critics, including multiple game-of-the-year nominations from outlets including Polygon and Giant Bomb. Check out the game’s trailer here:

Via Sony’s PlayStation Blog, other titles in this month’s free games for PlayStation Plus subscribers include:

  • Abyss Odyssey for PS3

  • WRC 5: World Rally Championship for PS3

  • Neon Chrome, PS Vita (crossbuy with PS4)

  • Spy Chameleon, PS Vita (crossbuy on PS4)

May’s PlayStation Plus free titles included the episodic title Tales From The Borderlands from developer Telltale Games, along with the indie underwater adventure title Abzu.

On the other end of the console lineup, Microsoft has also fleshed out its free and subscrition game offerings. The long-running Games With Gold program remains a key add-on for Xbox Live Gold subscribers — June’s games for Xbox One owners includes Watch Dogs, Assassin’s Creed III and Dragon Age: Origins.
