An Australian porn star was reportedly escorted by police from a United Airlines plane after giving an impassioned speech about the George Floyd protests.

Standing up mid-flight to rant about the now-global race issue to 300 passengers, Elle Knox, a 28-year-old adult entertainment star, was on board a United Airlines flight from Houston to San Francisco when she was dramatically escorted off the plane by police, Daily Mail reported.

Knox was due to catch a flight home to Sydney on Wednesday (June 3), when she decided to deliver a tirade about the ongoing racial protests and “police brutality” issues, recently becoming a global phenomenon amid the pandemic.

After the incident, the Aussie porn star took to Twitter to share details of what had happened during that time.

“My flight from Houston to San Francisco just landed,” Knox wrote. “I stood up and said ‘This isn’t my country, I’m an Australian. But I’ve noticed your democracy being threatened. Do not be complacent. Decide what side of history you’d like to be on.’ Now, police are coming.”

The porn actress also explained how she was told not to “make a political statement on a United Airline” and responded to this by telling them she was making a “human rights statement.”

“I’ve been told I scared people when I made the announcement. Even though everyone applauded me when I was escorted off,” she added. “If I stood up and asked people to wish my friend a happy birthday this wouldn’t be an issue.”

Per Daily Mail, Knox was questioned by police and security at San Francisco airport who she also claimed threatened her from boarding her next flight to Sydney on Wednesday. The 28-year-old porn star was eventually checked into her hotel and told her fans that she was “safe.”

Meanwhile, Knox seems to remain actively engaged in America’s ongoing mass protests in the wake of George Floyd’s untimely death.

“For many peacefully using their voices tonight they will tear gassed, shot at and arrested,” she penned on her tweet. "Democracy is threatened when people in power set curfews, implement martial law and intimidate with violence. Do not be silent.”

The adult performer also posted a video on her social media pages reiterating her calls for Americans to avoid being “complacent” about the issue.

So far, the U.S. is enduring its eight-day of mass protests over the unfortunate death of black man George Floyd, who was killed by a white Minneapolis police officer named Derek Chauvin by kneeing him to the ground during arrest.

Several bystanders had recorded the brutal incident and circulated on social media thereafter. This eventually sparked mass outrage, triggering protests across the country, and now, all over the world.
