LiveDeal Inc. (LIVE) stock climbed 9.99 percent to $12.11 in pre-market trading. The company stock climbed nearly 18 percent in regular trading Wednesday.

Orexigen Therapeutics, Inc. (OREX) stock surged 4.47 percent to $5.14 in pre-market trading. The stock has a 52-week low of $1.22, a 52-week high of $5.57 and $333.47 million in market capitalization.

Lincare Holdings Inc. (LNCR) stock gained 2.60 percent to $31.98 in pre-market trading. The company stock climbed more than 23 percent Wednesday on news that Linde AG may acquire LNCR for at least $3.4 billion.

Synta Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (SNTA) stock slumped 20 percent to $5.80 in pre-market trading after announcing results from a planned interim analysis of the company’s experimental treatment for nonsmall cell lung cancer.

Barclays Plc (BCS) stock slumped 8.60 percent to $11.27 in pre-market trading. On Wednesday, the bank agreed to pay $453 million to the U.S. and British authorities for its alleged involvement in a scheme to manipulate two global benchmark interest rates.

JPMorgan Chase & Co. (JPM) stock plunged 4.92 percent to $34.97 in pre-market trading after news that company’s loss from the 'London Whale' event that saw employee Bruno Iksil lose billions in a bad hedging bet, could total as much as $9 billion, far higher than earlier public estimates of $2 billion, the New YorkTimes reported citing unidentified current and former traders and executives at the bank.

Deutsche Bank AG (DB) stock plunged 4.36 percent to $33.78 in pre-market trading. The stock has a 52-week low of $28.57, a 52-week high of $61.23 and $32.58 million in market capitalization.
