Prince Andrew was spotted heading to Balmoral Castle in Scotland Tuesday, just a day after a lawsuit was filed accusing him of sexual abuse.

The Duke of York was accompanied by his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson when he headed to Balmoral, where his mother Queen Elizabeth II is currently staying for the summer, People reported.

In photos obtained by Daily Mail, Prince Andrew can be seen driving a Range Rover to the Scottish estate, while Ferguson was seated in the backseat of the vehicle.

The sighting came one day after Virginia Giuffre, an alleged victim of Jeffrey Epstein, filed a lawsuit against Prince Andrew in federal court in New York alleging that he forced her to have sex with him three times between 1999 and 2002 when she was under 18 years old.

In a statement shared with People on Monday, Giuffre said, "I am holding Prince Andrew accountable for what he did to me. The powerful and rich are not exempt from being held responsible for their actions. I hope that other victims will see that it is possible not to live in silence and fear, but to reclaim one's life by speaking out and demanding justice."

Prince Andrew said there would be no comment on the suit. Buckingham Palace previously denied Giuffre's allegations in a statement to CNN in 2019, saying, "It is emphatically denied that The Duke of York had any form of sexual contact or relationship with Virginia Roberts. Any claim to the contrary is false and without foundation."

Meanwhile, following their divorce in 1996, Prince Andrew and Ferguson have remained friends and co-parented their two daughters, Princess Beatrice, 33, and Princess Eugenie, 31.

Prior to their latest sighting together, Ferguson voiced her support for her ex-husband, telling People, "Whatever challenges he has, I will stand firm to the co-parenters (sic) that we are together. I believe that he's a kind, good man, and he's been a fabulous father to the girls."

Ferguson also spoke about her relationship with Prince Andrew in a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight while promoting her new romance novel "Her Heart for a Compass." According to the duchess, they are happy with their arrangement and practice the 3 C's — "communicate, compromise and compassion."

"We are very happily divorced to each other," she told ET. "It seems to work. I suppose he understands that I have a lot to do in the world. I'm a philanthropreneur. You bet you've never heard that word before. A philanthropreneur from the heart. And my children have donated me to the world's children and now they've donated grandma to the world's children too. It's just where I'm happiest to be, to fly free, to build my skills."

Meanwhile, Ferguson and Prince Andrew also previously visited the Queen in Balmoral in 2019. They arrived in Scotland separately but left together.

After their stay in Balmoral, the exes were photographed landing in Malaga, Spain, in a private jet. They also rode the same car.
