Prince Harry was happy with Meghan Markle's look at their royal wedding.

Unlike Kate Middleton who did her own makeup on her big day, the Duchess of Sussex sought the help of her friend, Daniel Martin. It caused a frenzy among fans and netizens when Prince Harry bit his lips and told his bride, "you look amazing," when they met at the altar.

According to Martin, the Duke of Sussex thanked him after they exchanged vows. "After the ceremony, Harry kept saying thank you," Martin told In Style in its September issue. "He was thanking me for making her look like herself."

Martin said he finds Markle easy to work with because she knows what she wants. For her wedding day, Prince Harry's bride reportedly wanted to look "timeless, effortless and chic." Markle wanted to look at her best on that event.

"On your wedding day, you want to look back at your photos and think about how great you felt in your dress and not be distracted by how trendy your makeup was in 2018. I focused on bringing out her best self and elevating it to a level, that you're not necessarily able to achieve yourself," Martin said.

Just recently, Martin shared an old video of the duchess eating raspberry straight from her fingers. He shared it on Markle's 37th birthday. "Happiest of birthdays my friend," he wrote in the caption on his post on Instagram.

Martin also confessed that he asked Markle how he should address her when she officially becomes a royal. He explained that they have known each other for a decade already, but he doesn't want to disrespect her.

"I asked her that. 'Do I bow to you? I don't want to disrespect you, but I've known for almost ten years. What's up?'" Martin shared. "She started laughing and she said, 'I'm always going to be Meg. Meg.'"

In related news, Marle made headlines during Charlie van Straubenzee and Daisy Jenks' wedding when she accidentally flashed her black lace bra. One netizen even accused the duchess of stealing the show by intentionally doing it.

"Meghan stole the show with her deliberate wardrobe malfunction," the netizen wrote.
