Prince Harry and Princess Diana adorably competed in a sports day event several years ago.

At the time, Prince Harry, 6, competed alongside young boys his age in a relay match. The now-Duke of Sussex failed to win the game. In the second round, Prince Harry participated in a sack race, but he also failed to finish first.

After the competition, Prince Harry ran to a woman who looked like the event organizer before the clip was cut to show Princess Diana in her black ensemble, preparing to take on a similar challenge.

The late Princess of Wales competed in the mom race in an attempt to lift Prince Harry’s spirits, but she did not win either. Despite her loss, Princess Diana proved just how quick she is and how good she is when it comes to running.

Upon reaching the finish line, Princess Diana stopped abruptly with a huge smile on her face, which suggests that she didn’t mind losing. Princess Diana was very hands-on in taking care of her two sons when she was still alive. In fact, she also made sure to give them a normal life as possible.

According to E! News, Princess Diana also did things her way as a mother to Prince William and Prince Harry. She was the first member of the royal family to give birth at St. Mary’s Hospital’s Lindo Wing. She was also the first mom in the royal family to breastfeed her sons.

Even when Prince William and Prince Harry were still babies, Princess Diana made sure to travel with them. In fact, she only agreed to join Prince Charles on one of their royal tours if a young Duke of Cambridge would also be there.

And as her sons grew up, Princess Diana’s body language proved just how protective she was of them. According to Good Housekeeping, Princess Diana’s parenting style was tenser compared to Prince William and Kate Middleton’s laid-back approach.
