Prince Harry Reportedly A ‘Better Fit’ For Meghan Markle Than Duchess’ Ex-Husband Trevor Engelson

Prince Harry and Trevor Engelson couldn’t be more different from one another.

In the book “Meghan: A Hollywood Princess,” royal author Andrew Morton revealed what initially attracted the Duchess of Sussex to her ex-husband.

According to Morton, Engelson was passionate, ambitious, and driven. He was also a typical New Yorker, who was brash, blunt, and ballsy.

“At times, though, he was maybe a little too gauche for a sophisticated girl who liked classy rather than crass,” Morton said.

According to Express, this makes Prince Harry a better fit for his wife because the Duke of Sussex has excellent manners. He also obeys strict protocols.

Meanwhile, Markle shares some similarities with both Engelson and Prince Harry. For instance, she and her ex-husband both experienced what it’s like to climb the greasy pole of the entertainment industry.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are similar in that they both come from broken families. However, Markle’s parents are still both alive.

Markle and Engelson also met at a time when the former was still starting her career in acting. But when the Duchess of Sussex met Prince Harry, she was already a successful star on the hit series “Suits.”

Meanwhile, Markle’s ex-husband was spotted shortly after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced their decision to quit the royal family. The Hollywood producer was asked to comment on his ex-wife’s bombshell exit, but he stayed mum on the subject.

Engelson has stayed out of the limelight since Markle started dating Prince Harry. But sources previously revealed that the real reason behind the former couple’s split.

Morton previously wrote in his book that Engelson had no idea that he and Markle would get divorced.

“Trevor went from cherishing Meghan to, as one friend observed, ‘feeling like he was a piece of something stuck to the bottom of her shoe.’ A wealthy entrepreneur friend claimed the marriage ended so abruptly that Meghan sent her wedding and engagement rings back to Trevor by registered post. Another confirmed that the decision to end the marriage was made by Meghan and that it had come 'totally out of the blue,’” he wrote.
