Prince Harry will reportedly become a great father to his son, Archie because he experienced loss at such a young age.

Royal expert Duncan Larcombe told Yahoo’s “The Royal Box” that the Duke of Sussex appeared to be very happy when he told reporters that his son had been born. But the happy moment couldn’t be complete because his mom, Princess Diana, wasn’t around.

“In a quiet moment away from all the hoi-polloi and the fuss, he will sit down and one of his big regrets will be that he never had an opportunity to show his mom how proud he is of his new son. Unfortunately, that’s something Harry’s had to live with since he was 12,” Larcombe said.

But if there’s one positive thing that came out from the Princess of Wales’ demise is that Prince Harry will become a great father because of it.

“We’ve got to remember for people who have lost their parents in childhood it gives extra significance once they’ve become parents themselves. When Harry is the hands-on dad that I’m sure he will be, he’ll remember all the special times he had, all the fun things he did with his mother, and this little boy will have one hell of an upbringing because Harry will throw everything he does into his family,” he added.

During a recent engagement in Oxford, the Duke of Sussex gushed over his son and said that can’t imagine life without him. Markle gave birth to Archie on May 6, and she and Prince Harry introduced him to the entire world two days later.

On Friday, Archie’s birth certificate was released to the public. In the document, it was revealed that the “Suits” alum gave birth to her son at the Portland Hospital in London.

Markle’s occupation has also been listed as the Princess of the United Kingdom, while Prince Harry’s occupation has been listed as the Prince of the United Kingdom.
