Prince Harry’s friends were shocked when they learned that he underwent a painful grooming method just to look good for Meghan Markle.

Many believe that Markle did a huge sacrifice for her love for Prince Harry. The Duchess of Sussex quit acting, turned her back from her career and moved to London, leaving her friends and family behind.

However, it wasn’t only Markle who made sacrifices. According to a newly resurfaced report from 2017, Prince Harry also did his part to make his then-girlfriend happy. In fact, he wanted so bad to look good for her that he underwent a painful grooming method.

Prince Harry had been photographed sporting a generous amount of hair on his torso. However, when he started dating Markle, this changed and his friends were shocked. Prince Harry reportedly started waxing his chest, a hair removal technique that is extremely painful.

“Harry’s been seen as a ‘man’s man’ all his adult life, so this has come as a shock to his close friends,” a source told The Sun.

“They all think his new grooming methods are down to his desire to look his shiny best for Meghan.”

One of Prince Harry’s friends said that his chest is like something one would see from the guys in “Baywatch” but without the tan.

Up to today, Markle still influences Prince Harry when it comes to his grooming. Just recently, royal correspondent Emily Andrews reported that the Duke of Sussex’s guilty pleasure includes getting $61 pedicures. Prince Harry reportedly had his toes done before his barefoot speech on climate change at Google camp in Sicily.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex like regular treatments at posh hotel Coworth Park in Ascot. The couple has the same therapists and a new one has to be supervised by someone Markle approved of before they can attend to the royals’ needs on their own.

Prince Harry’s military pals were shocked after learning about his luxurious pedicures. One couldn’t even believe that the royal would get pedicures and massages and said that the duke has changed.

“Harry used to be a proper bloke — dodgy dress sense, liked a drink and didn’t care how he looked,” another source said.
