Prince William is fine with Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice taking bigger roles after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s exit.

Sarah Ferguson and Prince Andrew’s daughters are not full-time working royals. Many want Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice to take over the Duke of York’s duties. However, the people aren’t that supportive of this idea, but Prince William is willing to give his cousins more jobs especially after Prince Harry and Markle decided to step down as senior members of the royal family.

“The plan is to give Beatrice and Eugenie many if not all of the duties that Princess Harry and Duchess Meghan relinquished when they stepped down as senior members of the royal family,” a source told OK!

“They are two extremely trusted, dependable young ladies who’ve made no secret of their ambition for a greater role within the royal firm. The Queen is happy to be giving her granddaughters a golden opportunity to step up and prove themselves for many years to come.”

An insider claimed that it was the Duke of Cambridge who suggested that Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice be given bigger roles. The York princesses were reportedly very pleased with their new role. Meanwhile, his wife, Kate Middleton, was also delighted after learning about it.

“He said they’ve more than proved themselves with dignity whenever they’ve performed public engagements,” the insider added.

“As soon as William told her the news she reached out and congratulated the ladies. Kate thinks the world of them and has no doubt they’ll make the monarchy proud.”

Earlier this year, Daily Express hosted a survey about Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie stepping up with bigger roles. The results showed that 29 percent do not think minor royals like the two princesses should pick up more duties. Meanwhile, 26 percent gave a positive response, 30 percent neither agreed nor disagreed, and 14 percent said they didn’t know.

In related news, Princess Eugenie confessed that she and her sister Princess Beatrice had a screaming match over clothes. Although they fight like other siblings, she then added that they also “love each other to death.”
