Prince William shared how Prince George and Princess Charlotte feel about the homeless people they see on the way to school.

The royals have a lot of charities and they help a lot of people. Prince George and Princess Charlotte share their parents’ passion in helping those in need. According to the Duke of Cambridge, his two children are curious about the homeless people they see on the streets.

“I know it sounds a little bit contrite, but on the school run already, whenever we see someone who is sleeping rough on the street, I talk about it and I point it out and I explain,” Prince William revealed on the “A Berry Royal Christmas” special.

“They are all very interested. They are like: ‘Why can’t they go home?’”

Prince William also shared how he learned about charitable causes from his late mother Princess Diana. According to the future king, the Passage homelessness charity was one of the first places he visited. He recalled that he was between 8 and 10 years old at the time and the said visit had a profound impact on him.

“My mother knew what she was doing with it. She realized that it was very important when you grow up — especially in the life that we grew up — that you realize that life happens beyond palace walls and that you see real people struggling with real issues,” Kate Middleton’s husband added.

On the same TV special, Middleton revealed how she celebrates her kids’ birthdays. According to the duchess, she usually stays up until midnight and bakes a cake for them. She makes far too many, but she loves doing it.

An insider said that the duchess enlists caterers to make her children’s favorites including pizza, pasta and sliders. Prince George and Princess Charlotte love cup cakes, ice cream machine and candy. Although the future queen ensures that they stick to a healthy diet, she allows them to enjoy whatever they want on their natal day.

In related news, royal fans are already very excited for Prince William and Middleton’s Christmas card. Their supporters are eager to see it because they want a new Cambridge family photo.
