Prince William and Prince Harry are reportedly missing one thing from their lives that their cousins, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie have been experiencing.

The parents of Prince William and Prince Harry have been divorced for years, and Princess Diana has also been dead for over two decades. Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie’s parents, on the other hand, may be divorced but they have also maintained an amicable relationship with each other.

While speaking with People, royal commentator Ingrid Seward said that Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson’s daughters have had a stability that Prince William and Prince Harry have found painfully lacking in their own lives.

“Although their early childhood was not good, those girls have had a very secure upbringing. The girls love that their parents get on so well,” Seward said.

Prince Andrew and Ferguson also divorced around the same time that Prince Charles and Princess Diana divorced. But at present, they are still living together at the Royal Lodge. Rumors have been ripe that they have gotten back together but not officially.

Princess Diana and Prince Charles, on the other hand, tied the knot in 1981. But even before the couple sealed the deal, Princess Diana already became aware that Prince Charles was having an affair with his ex-girlfriend, Camilla Parker Bowles.

After having two children together, Prince Charles and Princess Diana announced their separation in 1992. At that time, Queen Elizabeth II wanted to keep the couple’s separation private but they eventually decided to come clean with it.

The New York Times released a shocking story with a headline that read, “Charles and Diana are separating ‘amicably.’” After their separation, Prince William and Prince Harry continued to live in the palace with Prince Charles.

The Prince and Princess of Wales’ finalized their divorce in 1996 after Princess Diana’s controversial interview with Panorama. In 1995, she told Martin Bashir that she didn’t think Prince Charles is suited to become King.
